Description

Vintage, extremely rare handpainted figural 3-D Warrior art sculpture mugs. The one not wearing anything on his head was impossible for me to find any information on. I cannot find any photos of him online either. The three points in the Eagle stamp on the bottom of him could be referring to the “three points” region Taxco/ Guadalajara BUT it could also be a representation of the three cactus roots a local symbol.

The other Warrior wearing the Eagle headgear is a Guerrero Aguila (Aztec Eagle Warrior). This one is stamped with the location Acatlipa, Moreles.
Eagle Warriors were a special class of infantry soldier in the Aztec Army, one of the two leading military special forces.
